Hazardous Environments and the Chemical Industry

• Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX): Danfoss RCT models offer configurations certified for hazardous zones. This allows the forklift to safely navigate warehouses containing chemicals, flammables, or combustible dust while the operator stands outside the danger zone.

• Toxic or Hot Material Handling: In facilities with a risk of chemical spills or burns, remote control enables forklift operation from a secure and safe distance.

Heavy Industry and Metallurgy

• Foundries and Steel Mills: Used where intense radiant heat, dust, and high noise levels make sitting directly in a traditional forklift cabin uncomfortable or unsafe.

• Metal Stock Warehouses: When transporting extremely long, heavy, or awkwardly shaped loads (such as steel profiles or sheets) where standard cabin visibility is blocked. With a Danfoss controller, the operator can walk around the forklift to visually verify clearance in tight spaces.

 

Oversized Logistics and Construction

• High-Precision Racking: Ideal for placing atypical, highly valuable, or fragile loads into high racking. The operator can walk directly up to the rack and use the proportional joysticks for millimeter-precise fork adjustments.

• Construction Yards and Outdoor Depots: Useful when loading building materials onto trucks over uneven terrain, allowing the operator to see directly into the truck bed without constantly climbing in and out of a cabin.

 

Automated and Semi-Automated Warehouses
